First Day of School and Labor Day

Molli started school on the 31st of August. She is absolutely loving it. She is really enjoying having a new experience everyday. Now if I could get her to remember that school starts at 12:10 pm and not 10:30 am. She is starting to learn lots and finding out that she is expected to obey the rules at home and school.

Aaron is still trying to adjust to dropping Molli off at school everyday. He has now started to cry when we drop her off. However he really enjoys going and picking her up. He is learning new words every time I turn around. His new word today is Circle.

We spent the Labor Day weekend with my friend Amy and her Kids up in Logan. We went to Bear Lake, Paris, Idaho, as well as walking around the campus of USU and the temple. A great time was had by all.

Time is really flying again.

I can't believe that almost a whole year as gotten away from me again. I am not doing really well on keeping this blog up, but will try harder in the future. We've had a really fun summer of geocaching, going for rides in the van, playing with friends, taking care of Grandma Cindy for a few days, playing with the cousins, celebrating Molli turning 5 and getting ready for Kindergarten, and trying to help Aaron to adjust to Nursery (not going well yet). We also had a family BBQ with part of Ben's family.
Molli will start Kindergarten on the 31st of August. She is really excited for it to happen. She won't however have anyone that she already knows in her class. Her best friends Anna and Carlie Giboney have recently moved out of the area and to Tucson AZ. We really are missing them and all the fun too.
Aaron is a very active 22 month old. He keeps surprising me with all the words he knows. His favorite things are anything Cars, Trucks, Trains, and Sesame Street. He loves going for rides in Ben's truck. He is starting to figure out the child locks on almost everything. His other favorite past time is watching any and all musicals.

September came and went . . . Where did it go??

As I am sitting here tonight I can't believe that September is already over and halloween is coming. I sit and think back over the month and can't seem to recall most of it. That might be a good thing or it might not. We'll have to see.
Aaron is now 11 months old and getting faster. His new fun is to get into the bathroom to play in the "water" (toilet). He can now use his weight to get the door open. We have to keep it closed for now. He is also climbing stairs on his own. He can go up but not down yet. Molli is showing him daily how to go down the right way. He has started to think that processed baby food is not for him. He now insists on eating off of our plates. It's really cute for now.
Molli has started working on learning her letters better and she knows her colors and shapes. We are also working on writing and learning Spanish, French and English. We bought her the Muzzy program. She loves it. We also bought her a bookbag for her school supplies. Which she carries everywhere. She is now telling us what she wants for Christmas already. It changes everytime you ask her.
Well I have to try and get to bed. The kids are still early risers and I'm not. Hoping that everyone is well. Praying for you all.

Time is really flying again....

I can't believe that the new school year is upon us already. Molli is still wanting to go. She asks us everyday if she can go yet. We have to tell her not this year but the next one. It is soooo hard being 4 and the only one home during the day while her older friends are at school. It's a good thing she has Aaron to help with.
Aaron is now almost 10 month old. He can pull himself up on almost every thing. He is also trying to walk and stand without help. he hasn't even firgured out the crawling with your tummy off the floor yet. He is a joy to have and see everyday. Even when he only gets a quick nap because of the busy day mom has sometimes.
As my wife and I are starting to get ready for the Fall and Winter seasons we can't believe how time is flying past. It feel like just last week was the start of the Spring and Summer season. We really need to find a way to slow down and enjoy the time. Wishing all of you the best. Keep on Smiling.

Where did the Summer go????

I can't believe that summer is almost over. It has been a busy one for us. Aaron has now learned to military crawl (tummy) and is trying to pull himself up on things. Before I know it he'll be walking. He learned to do that at his Grandma Cindy's house while we were there to help take care of her.

Molli has been swimming and running through the sprinklers and Slip N Sliding her way through summer. She went along when it was time to start back to school shopping for her older cousins. Boy was that a lot of fun. She is now trying to get me to let her go to school too. She will start preschool in the fall and can't wait while I as her teacher can. She is really helpful when she want to be. She is really looking forward to learning ABCs and already knows most of her colors. We're working on shapes next.

Patti has had a busy summer. In the end of June, her mother had an ATV Accident. She ended up breaking 8 ribs (5 on the right side and 3 on the left) as well as the ball and neck of her right shoulder. She is doing much better. The family went to stay for a short time while her Dad went to visit His Family. As he got into the trip he found out that one brother in law broke his should and has not been able to move it since March. While another one was having difficulty swallowing so had exploratory surgery done on his throat only to find out that it was full of Cancer. Not a good news trip but he enjoyed himself.

Ben however had to work through most of the summer. He keeps wondering why? We are planning a vacation in September around his birthday and he can't wait. We're going to see some friends that we haven't seen in a while. He hasn't even had time to Geo cache. For those who don't know what that is I'll try to explain. It's what I call a Big Boy's Treasure Hunt or Hide and Seek Game. Using GPS Coordinates in order to find the cache. He has done some hiking with his Nephew Jacob. They made it all the way up Maple Mountain this summer. It took a while but they both had fun.

Time is flying ...

Oh my! I can't believe that time is passing by so fast. Aaron is now teething and it's not pretty. He will be 7 months in 8 days. Where does all the time go? He now weighs in at 20 lbs and is 27 1/2 inches long. Just when I finally get his clothes to fit the next day he's out grown them. Still he keeps us all laughing. He just loves Molli. She can get him to laugh when he is not feeling well.

He also is getting quite the leg muscles. As he has found the Jumperoo. He can really get it going.

Molli is getting closer and closer to her 4th birthday which is in a couple of weeks. (Yikes) She can't wait to turn 4 years old. She already tries to tell everyone that she is 4 already. It's really cute. Molli also is trying to get us to take her camping with Papa and Grandma Cindy. Boy trying to convince her that we can't do that everyday is taking it's toll. She is determined to go no matter what the weather is doing. Just yesterday she pulled out the sleeping bags and told me to pack up Aaron and we're to leave and go get Papa and Grandma Cindy. It didn't matter that her daddy has to work this weekend and isn't able to go until later. Good thing for distractions like talking on the cell phone to Mommy's friends or our family. Sorry if she runs up your cell phone bills. Well time got away from me again. Better see if I can catch up to it. Bye for now.

Easter and Camping....

For this Easter, my parents and us decided to try and go camping. The weather was not cooperating so we ended up having our camping trip at Grandma Cindy and Papa's house. My father built a "tent" for Molli to sleep under in the dinning room. She had a ball. We got pictures of the building and playing in the tent. We also got to spend a quiet Easter Sunday celebrating with my parents and playing on their 4 wheelers. Boy, now I want a couple of our own so that I can have a fun time riding and not having to borrow from my parents. Molli really enjoyed the riding part. The faster you could go the better she liked it. I could hear her laughing even through the helmet and full face shield. Aaron was too tired and little to be on them but he had fun just hanging out with those that were left behind while waiting for their turn to come around. I can't believe that Aaron is going to be 6 months old at the end of this month. Time is sure flying faster. He is already wearing 12 month clothes and has just gotten his two bottom front teeth. There are still at least 3 more ready to break through on the top. Poor little guy is miserable. His favorite "Chew toy" is mommy's shoulder and/or her arms. It was fun until he got the teeth! Now it just hurts and I try not to laugh but can't help it when he grins after doing it again and again.

A Day of Fun....

Well I can honestly day that today was a wonderful day. This morning we got to attend my niece Megan's Baptism. She looked so beautiful. She was a wonderful sport when she had to be done twice. Her hand didn't go under the first time around. She also had her oldest brother Jason do the confirmation part. He did a wonderful job. After the Baptism we then went over to Crystal & Adam's house to finish celebrating Megan's 8th birthday and an early birthday for Jason. As he is being deployed in April and won't be here in June. I can't wait until he comes back. Then the worrying can stop. Hopefully!!!!! After the partying was done we then met up with our friends, Shellie, Anna, & Carlie at the park for an hour of fun. Then it was home to rest and make dinner and then off to bed before midnight I hope.

LIfe at it's fullest!!!

As I sit here thinking to myself, I keep wondering where the time is going and how can I get it back. The days seem to be going by so fast that I seem to miss them more and more lately.
Aaron is now 4 months old. He weighs 17 lbs 8 oz and is 27" long. I could not believe it. It seems like only yesterday that I brought him home a newborn. Such is my busy life. He is now fully laughing and smiling at everyone. He is a very happy baby, most of the time. Ben had to take the baby on Sunday as I had him laughing and interrupting the Sunday School class.
Molli is really enjoying being a Sunbeam. She goes around singing the Sunbeam song where ever she goes. Molli is also learning her Phonics and letters so that we can "pretend" to go to school. She still sits in the front window and cries that she wants to go to school when the buses drive by. She is also looking forward to Spring and Summer coming. So that she can play outside and go to swim lessons this summer. Boy will my life get busier.

The Funny Things In Life . . .

As Molli gets closer to her 4th birthday I realize that she is trying to grow up to fast. Like the other day, she wanted to go outside and when I didn't respond fast enough she asked me nicely to "please get outside now!" She will also "help" by taking things out of a hot oven without somehow burning herself. Today's little comment really took me by surprise. I told her that her friends Anna and Carlie were sick and that she couldn't go and play with them today. A couple of minutes later she told me that "Anna is better now so I can go and play." I found out that Anna and Carlie both had Ear Infections again and were not able to play. This did not deter her at all. We finally had to distract her by going out to dinner. I am glad to say that she'll get to go play with her friends soon.
Aaron is growing by leaps and bounds. He is now in 6-9 month clothes. He also is now starting to laugh an actual laugh. He is very ticklish on his feet and neck. He loves to watch Fantasia 2000. When he gets to watch anything besides sisters movies. Molli is in love with being the big sister. She also tries to make Aaron do what he is not able to do yet, like sit on his own or play tea party with her. He does however love to grin at her, Mommy and Daddy. He can melt your heart with one of his smiles. Hopefully soon he'll smile at Grandma Cindy, he's already smiled at Papa.

Oh What Fun ...

Oh what fun we're having. Aaron is doing better but has to stay away from church until the end of the RSV Season. Which makes taking Molli harder. We'll just have to compromise and take her with a lot of Purell Hand Sanitizer with one of us at a time. :-P
This week we had some friends come over to our house and sled down the hill in the back yard. They all had a wonderful time. The snow is finally stopped for now and I can't wait for Spring and Summer to come around again.

An Update . . .

I am proud to announce that Aaron was able to come home from the hospital. He is doing much better. He still has a cough but the happy little guy is now smiling and playing like his old self more and more each day. I have found that he's quite the ladies man. He had all the nurses and the medical students stopping by and seeing if he was OK. We are really glad that it only took 4 nights in the hospital to get better. The only bad thing is that now we are all stuck at home for a little while. Molli is also getting better. She got to spend time with Grandma Cindy and Papa. Riding the 4-wheeler and getting to stay at Julie and Roy's new house up in the Mountains. We also would like to thank all of you for the prayers and support you all gave to us at this time.

RSV!!!!!

We have been at the hospital with Little Man Aaron. He has gotten RSV bad enough that the Dr's sent him straight to the hospital yesterday. Hopefully it will not last that long and we'll be able to go home very soon. Molli also has duel ear infections as well. Which makes spending time with both of them very difficult. I'll keep this blog posted as to when we go home and how everyone is doing. Well wishes are being sent to all who reads this blog.

Here we go again...

Well it's that time of year. Colds and sickness everywhere. Aaron has gotten another cold along with that an ear infection and he is having a hard time breathing. We took him to the Dr's again. only to be told that it is not RSV. Thank goodness. Molli also has a cold and we trying to figure out how to stop the sickness from coming back again. Molli also loves to help take care of Aaron. Specially when he is trying to sleep. What a way to start the new year. Hopefully this is not a pattern that will continue all year. We are very blessed that it is just colds and not something worse.

A Quick Trip ... Las Vegas Here We Come

Aaron and Molli got to meet their Great Grandma GeGe this last week. It was an impromptu visit to Las Vegas. We went with my mom and sister and her 3 youngest children. When we arrived we found that my cousin's kids Hannah and Trent were there too. It was a great time had by all. At least for the kids. The Adults were glad for bed time when all went quiet for a few hours. I am really glad to see them getting to know their other cousins. We are planning another trip in March to go down there again. I know that Molli can hardly wait.

Christmas and DRS.....

Well Christmas has come and gone. The kids got spoiled rotten by Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins galore. Molli is so excited that she wouldn't leave Grandma Cindy's house. We had to bribe her with playing with her church classmates. She got a play kitchen from Santa. She also got a set of cooking dishes and a tea set from Grandma Cindy and Papa. She also got a sled to go sliding down the hill in our back yard with, as well as a Christmas Ornament from Grandma and Grandpa Davis. She also got a card game from Aunt Laura, Uncle Cory, and the Family. Aunt Cathi and Uncle Felix and family gave her a baby doll cradle. She tries to put Aaron in it. So we have to watch her very carefully. She also got some clothes, books, toys, and 2 movies, Tinkerbell and the New Barbie Movie. Boy, I am going to know them well!!!
Aaron got a Dunk and Cheer Basketball set from Santa. He also got some clothes, A hippo gym that lays on the floor, through the year story books, 2 Cd's, from Grandma Cindy and Papa.
Aaron also got some money and a Christmas Ornament for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa Davis. He got a floor play mat from Aunt Cathi, Uncle Felix, and the Family. He also got a new set of teething toys from Aunt Laura, Uncle Cory, and the Family. Mom and Dad got him a classical stacker, some bath toys, clothes, and some story books too. Boy I can hardly wait to get to red all the book to him. For Mommy and Me time. Ge Ge (Great-Grandma) gave him a mobile for his bed. The first night we put it up, at about 11:30pm I had to take it down until morning. He was having a good time "talking" to it. He wouldn't go to sleep.
Now for the Dr's part of this blog. Aaron went in this morning for his 2 month check up. He is doing fine. Growing like a weed. He now weighs in at 13 lbs 9 Oz's. I forgot to ask how long so I'll measure again later tonight. He is now on a lactose free formula and doing much better. I think he is growing up to fast. He is also giving his smiles a little more often. He also can hold his head up and is tracking things with his eyes. Molli is now trying to "Help" after his shots. Aaron's not to sure of what to make of all the help. Well that's about all for now. So I am wishing everyone a good New Year and We'll see you in '09!!!

Santa's Visit

Aaron and Molli got to see Santa at the Ward Christmas Party. For some reason Molli wouldn't let us take her picture. Go figure. Aaron of course slept thru the whole party. We had a good time.

The normal life starts...

I can honestly say that life is getting back to normal for us. With the exceptions of colds. Aaron is now sleeping all the way thru the night. (HOORAY!!!!) Molli is getting into the swing of things. I have to remind her that she is not the mommy and to let the adults pick up and carry brother around. We love her all the more for the help she does give. Like tonight she was "helping" to change Aarons diaper. It's a good thing that Aaron can survive Molli, or else we would be in trouble.

6 Weeks already?????

I can't believe that Aaron is now 6 weeks old. He is getting bigger and is starting to interact with us. He has also started to discover his voice. It is really cute to watch Molli and Aaron interact with each other. Molli is starting to enjoy the Christmas Season. She is still trying to figure out how Santa ties into things, but she really enjoys the songs and the lights. We are wishing everyone a Happy Holidays. May the next year bring a brighter future.

1 Month Old

I can't believe that a month has flown by. Aaron is now a month old. He is getting bigger and starting to be more vocal when he's awake. Molli of course is still having to be told not to help so much. She can't seem to leave her brother alone for more than a few minutes. We're starting to get our routine down. But then Molli or Aaron decides that they need to find something else to keep me busy. Got to love them tho.
